They cover copyright documentation, digital content organisation, licensing information and application planning. The scope, deliverables and conditions of each service are set out in a formal agreement.
What is needed before using content?
Identify the source of the rights, the rights holder, permissions and time limits, as well as the intended use. Content belonging to others must also comply with the relevant licence conditions.
Does access to digital content include all copyright?
No. The rights available, territory, duration and any permission to sublicense depend on valid licence documents. Possessing content or a digital record does not, by itself, establish these rights.
Do I need to submit information to browse?
No. This website provides information about MIDCEX and copyright services. All public content can be read without registration, an application or a file upload.
